Ahmedabad: The girls of Jamnadas Bhagwandas Kanya Chhatralay in Ahmedabad recently enjoyed a free screening of the newly released Gujarati film “Interview,” organized by the renowned NGOs “Act of Kindness” and “Kar Ke Dekho Achha Lagta Hai.” Around 30-40 girls attended the 4:00 PM show at the Connplex Theatre in the Parimal Garden area of Ahmedabad.
This initiative was led by Pinkyben from “Act of Kindness” and social worker Kripa Ben, along with Rajbhai from “Kar Ke Dekho Achha Lagta Hai.” The film “Interview” tells the story of an ordinary person preparing for their first job interview, depicting the whirlwind of thoughts they face and how they cope with the challenges. Produced under the banner of Kalpana Productions LLP in collaboration with Faldu Studio and Rods Cones Hammers, the film features prominent actors such as Tamaliya, Sohni Bhatt, Devangi Bhatt Joshi, Kamal Joshi, and Chetan Dahiya. This unique story was written and directed by Killol Parmar.
The film also inspired the girls to give their best without fear, acknowledging the struggles their families endure to support their progress.
It is worth noting that Jamnadas Bhagwandas Kanya Chhatralay works to educate girls from surrounding rural areas, providing them with food, shelter, and opportunities for recreational activities while facilitating a good education to help them advance in life.
