The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has officially declared the results of the Chartered Accountants Foundation Examination held in May 2026. At the all-India level, a total of 90,217 candidates appeared for the examination, out of which 18,124 candidates successfully passed, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 20.09%. The performance breakdown reveals that 46,798 male candidates appeared with 9,769 passing (20.88%), while 43,419 female candidates appeared with 8,355 successfully clearing the exam (19.24%). The examination was conducted across a total of 609 centers nationwide.
On this occasion, CA Rinkesh Shah, Chairman of the ICAI Ahmedabad Branch (WIRC), extended his heartfelt congratulations to all the successful candidates for their outstanding achievement. He also offered strong words of encouragement to those who could not clear the examination this time, urging them to stay determined and continue their efforts with renewed focus, emphasizing that perseverance and discipline remain the ultimate keys to success in the prestigious CA profession.
The Ahmedabad city toppers for the May 2026 CA Foundation exam delivered exceptional performances, led by Krishiv Achyut Dani who secured the top spot with 328 marks. Taniya Nandlal Valecha claimed the second position with 318 marks, followed closely by Tarun Goenka and Darsheel Vishalkumar Pandya, who both shared the third rank with an impressive score of 317 marks. The Ahmedabad Branch takes immense pride in the stellar achievements of its students and extends its warmest best wishes to all candidates as they embark on the next phase of their journey in the Chartered Accountancy course.
