Ahmedabad, August 3, 2024 – The Dream Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting safety and well-being, organized a self-defense training workshop for approximately 60 students at Shrusti Vidhya Vihar School, Nikol Viratnaar Road, Ahmedabad.
The workshop, led by Amandeep singh Gotra, an international champion and self-defense expert, focused on practical techniques to equip young women with the skills to protect themselves in real-life situations.
“We believe that self-defense skills are crucial for everyone, especially in today’s world,” said Nirav Shah, Founder of Dream Foundation. “Our goal is to empower young women with the tools they need to feel confident and safe.”The event was endorsed by Mr. Yagnesh Bhai, who emphasized the importance of self-defense training for girls. Certificates were distributed to all participants, recognizing their commitment to learning and self-empowerment.
Amandeep Singh Gotra, the trainer, shared a powerful message: “When a girl stands for herself, she stands for society.”The Dream Foundation is committed to creating a safer and more empowered society for young women. This initiative is a step towards achieving that goal.
