Ahmedabad: With the aim of strengthening social unity and encouraging youth participation, Shri Saurashtra Sai Suthar Gyati Hitechchhu Mandal, Ahmedabad successfully organised the grand “Darji Premier League (DPL-12)” cricket tournament. The tournament was recently held at the V-9 Cricket Ground near Science City, Ahmedabad. The primary objective of the event was to foster unity within the community through sports.
A total of 8 teams participated in the tournament, in which the Panther Team emerged as the winner, while the Warriors Team finished as the runner-up.
Members of the Darji Cricket Committee — Vimal Gohel, Hiren Vaghela, Hareshbhai Hingol, Hemin Chauhan, Dwijen Gohel and Sanjay Gohel — expressed their heartfelt gratitude to all the players, volunteers, and sponsors for their valuable contribution in making the tournament a grand success.

Several prominent members of the community extended generous support towards the successful execution of the event. The player T-shirts were sponsored by the Late Mansukhbhai Gabhurubhai Pithdiya Family, while all the attractive trophies were sponsored by Manojbhai Bansibhai Vaghela (YOM Group of Companies).
To motivate the players, Dalsukhbhai Gabhurubhai Pithdiya felicitated the Man of the Match, Man of the Series, Best Bowler, and Best Batsman with cash prizes and caps. Additionally, several donors from the community rewarded the players of the final winning team with cash prizes, further boosting their morale.
The tournament witnessed enthusiastic participation from a large number of community members, including youths and families, whose energy and support brought the ground alive.
