Prapti Shukla enters COLORS’ ‘Mera Balam Thanedaar,’ bringing a positive wave in the lives of Veer and Bulbul

COLORS’ ‘Mera Balam Thanedaar’ has been garnering love and attention, and now it’s all set to bring another exciting twist in the lives of Bulbul and Veer. Talented actress Prapti Shukla joins the cast as Raashi Agarwal, an IAS officer who studied with Veer (played by Shagun Pandey) for the civil service exam. She has a crush on Veer and becomes his biggest support after the revelation of Bulbul’s (played by Shruti Choudhary) true age. In a surprising twist, Sulakshana (Veer’s mother) proposes that Raashi should marry Veer. While Raashi’s character is positive, her presence will add new layers to the storyline, bringing both hope and unexpected developments as she helps rebuild the relationship between Veer and Bulbul.

Prapti Shukla, portraying the character of Raashi Agarwal, shared, “I’m excited to join COLORS’ most loving show, ‘Mera Balam Thanedaar’. It’s great to be part of a series that addresses social issues while entertaining the audience with new twists and turns. I can’t wait to share the screen with such talented actors, which adds to the excitement. My character, Raashi is an IAS officer, who has studied with Veer for the civil service exam together. As part of my prep, I learned about the world of civil servants, what they study, and their mannerisms. The goal was to bring out Raashi’s kind nature, and that came very naturally to me. I hope I succeed in giving viewers more reasons to stay glued to the show!”
