Matis Life Saver Club Organizes First Aid Training for 150 Auto Rickshaw Drivers

Ahmedabad: Matis Life Saver Club, operating under Matis Multi-Specialty Hospital, conducted a first aid training program for 150 auto rickshaw drivers in the Chandkheda area. The primary objective of this initiative was to enhance road safety and ensure timely medical assistance in case of accidents or medical emergencies. Through this program, the hospital reaffirmed its commitment to community welfare and prompt medical aid.

The event was organized with the efforts of key members, including Dr. Vipul Sengal, Dr. Anurag Dave, Dr. Aniket Gupta, and Vishesh Bhuptani, MD of Matis Multi-Specialty Hospital. A team of medical experts provided comprehensive guidance on essential first aid measures to be taken during road accidents.

During the training session, medical professionals and trainers educated the participants on crucial life-saving techniques such as CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), methods to control excessive bleeding, handling fractures, and assisting unconscious passengers. Additionally, they provided insights into wound management, recognizing stroke symptoms, and taking immediate steps in response to heart attacks.

Speaking at the event, Vishesh Bhupatani, MD of Matis Multi-Specialty Hospital, stated, “Auto rickshaw drivers often arrive first at accident sites. This training empowers them with the necessary skills to provide immediate assistance to injured individuals until professional medical help arrives, which can be life-saving.”

Matis Multispecialty Hospital plans to expand this initiative in the coming months, extending first aid training programs to school teachers, police personnel, and transport workers. This initiative aims to create a safer and more responsible community by equipping individuals with vital first aid knowledge.
