Kaashi Raaghav’s Musical Marvel: Jubin Nautiyal’s ‘Maa Ganga’ Captures Devotion and Emotion

The trailer of the much-anticipated film Kaashi Raaghav, releasing on January 3, 2024, was recently launched and has been receiving an overwhelming response from the audience. One of the songs from the film, a lullaby titled “Neendru Re”, sung by renowned Bollywood singer Rekha Bhardwaj, has already captivated listeners.

Now, the makers of the film have released another mesmerizing song, “Maa Ganga”, which has been melodiously rendered by popular singer Jubin Nautiyal. The lyrics of this song are deeply soulful and leave the listeners spellbound.

Produced under the banner of Dhanpal Films by Dhanpal Shah, Kaashi Raaghav has been written and directed by Dhruv Goswami. The film features Deeksha Joshi and Jayesh More in the lead roles. It has been co-written by Jatan Pandya, Jhanvi Chopra, and Dhruv Goswami. The music for the film has been composed by Vatsal and Kavan.

Director Dhruv Goswami shared, “The song ‘Ganga’ was shot at the iconic ghats of the Ganga. We had to film it during the live Ganga Aarti, leaving us with very limited time to shoot. Our vision was to capture the essence of the song in its most natural form. Fortunately, we got four days for the shoot during the Aarti, and by Maa Ganga’s blessings, we were able to complete it successfully. We received immense support and blessings from the priests, sages, and local devotees. We were looking for a distinct voice for this track, and no one could have been a better fit than Jubin Nautiyal. He and his team have been incredibly supportive. Despite not being a Gujarati singer, Jubin has sung the song with such ease and emotion that it feels completely authentic.”

Producer Dhanpal Shah said, “This film and its songs hold a lot of cherished memories for us. We are grateful to have some of the most celebrated singers on board. The entire team has worked tirelessly, and we are confident that the audience will love this film.”

Apart from Deeksha Joshi and Jayesh More, the film also stars Shruhad Goswami and child artist Pihushree Gadhvi in pivotal roles. The ensemble cast includes talented actors like Bharat Thakkar, Kalpana Gagadekar, Saurabh Saraswat, Preeti Das, Vishal Thakkar, Devansh Patel, Jigar Bagriya, Hiral Dangar, and Gaurang Jani.

Set against the backdrop of Kashi Vishwanath, Varanasi, Kolkata, Gujarat, and Mumbai, the film brings together the essence of Gujarati and Bengali cultures, making it a unique representation rarely seen in regional cinema.

With its rich storyline, cultural depth, and soulful music, Kaashi Raaghav promises to offer an unforgettable cinematic experience.
