The grand saga of devotion and pride, Gangasati–Paanbai, to air at 7:30 PM, followed by the romantic family drama Manmelo at 9:30 PM.
Ahmedabad, 29 January 2026: Colors Gujarati, the only channel dedicated exclusively to Gujarati entertainment, is all set to bring two compelling new stories to viewers. Deeply inspired by Gujarat’s cultural soul – its values, devotion, literature, emotions, and history – the channel continues to strengthen its bond with audiences through content that feels rooted, relevant, and meaningful. Staying true to its promise of “Authentic Gujarati Entertainment,” Colors Gujarati introduces two new shows Gangasati–Paanbai and Manmelo that aim to enrich television viewing with depth, emotion, and fresh perspective.
Opening a new chapter in its programming journey, the channel presents “Gangasati–Paanbai: Shyam Dhun No Navo Adhyay”. The show draws from the timeless bhajans and devotional poetry of Gujarat’s revered saint-poetesses, Gangasati and Paanbai, and presents them in a contemporary narrative style. Designed to connect with today’s generation, the series brings together devotion, human values, and inner reflection, with every episode offering a distinct blend of spiritual thought and soulful music.
Adding a contrasting yet equally engaging narrative is the show “Manmelo”, a family drama that explores relationships across social and economic divides. The story follows three sisters from a middle-class family whose lives take an unexpected turn when they form emotional bonds with three brothers from a wealthy household. As their worlds come together, the show delves into themes of love, ambition, social differences, and emotional responsibility. Each couple faces new challenges in their married lives, making the journey both relatable and emotionally layered.

“Our continued focus lies in offering viewers meaningful and high-quality content while staying true to the essence of Gujarati culture. With the launch of Gangasati–Paanbai and Manmelo, we are thrilled to once again bring two distinct stories to television. Gangasati–Paanbai goes beyond devotion to celebrates human values and harmony, while Manmelo reflects the emotional choices young audiences face today as they balance love and responsibility. Together, these shows reaffirm our commitment to keeping cultural values alive through compelling, family-focused storytelling,” said a Colors Gujarati spokesperson.
With two new shows set to premiere, Colors Gujarati continues to build on its commitment to authentic Gujarati entertainment, bringing viewers fresh narratives rooted in strong storytelling and cultural resonance.
