A Second Chance, an Untold Story — Siddharth Randeria Leads Jindagi Once More, Streaming Only on ShemarooMe

ShemarooMe is set to premiere the heartfelt film Jindagi Once More. At its heart, the film is a story about second chances, the chance to revisit the past, reconnect with the people who matter, say what was left unsaid, and make time for the moments we once let pass us by. It is also the story of a father, the man who is expected to always be strong, often keeps his feelings to himself and quietly puts his family first.  Jindagi Once More brings this rarely explored side of fatherhood to life, uncovering the emotions, sacrifices, and unspoken feelings that so often hide behind a father’s quiet strength.

This story is about looking beyond the roles and relationships we grow accustomed to and discovering the people behind them. As the son begins to uncover chapters from his father’s life, the film explores how every family carries stories, friendships and experiences that can remain hidden across generations. The narrative brings together emotion, warmth and the idea that sometimes, the heroes we search for outside are already present within our own homes.

Marking Dharma Productions’ first venture into Gujarati cinema, Jindagi Once More is a heartfelt family drama. The film was produced by Vaartakaar Films, with Vasuu Dholakia serving as producer. Notably, Karan Johar’s banner Dharma Productions came on board as presenter and distributor, marking a historic first for the studio as it steps into Gujarati cinema for the very first time.

Starring veteran Gujarati actor Siddharth Randeria in the lead role, the film was released in theatres on June 19, 2026, and will now begin streaming on ShemarooMe starting September 17, 2026.

Siddharth Randeria, who plays the father, said, “Playing a father who carries so much within him and shows so little of it was a deeply moving experience. Fathers are often seen as the strong, silent ones in a family, but rarely do we get to see what that silence is hiding. Zindagi Once More gave me the chance to portray that quiet strength, and I hope it makes audiences look at their own fathers with a little more warmth and understanding, and I am excited to know the movie will be streaming on ShemarooMe”

Deep Dholakia portrays his son, Shekhar. Talking about the film and his character, Deep Dholakia said, “Understanding our parents is never easy. A mother can often express her feelings openly, but fathers rarely show their emotions and always try to remain strong. This film explores that side of a father and the life he has lived beyond being a parent.

Fathers often put their dreams aside for their families, but we rarely take the time to understand what makes them happy or what their life was like before they became fathers. Shekhar’s journey in the film is about discovering his father’s past and seeing the person and the hero behind the role of a father. My father was the inspiration behind writing Jindagi Once More, and still, playing Shekhar also made me look at my own father differently. My understanding of my father evolved with the character I played, and it brought us even closer. I feel this is a film every young person should watch because it reminds us not to take our families for granted and to make time to understand the people who matter most to us.”

ShemarooMe, the home of Gujarati entertainment has consistently delivered engaging, emotionally resonant stories to its audiences, and Jindagi Once More is a meaningful new addition to that legacy. With its heartfelt narrative, relatable emotions, a second chance to make amends and a deep family core, the film promises to be a special watch for viewers everywhere, a gentle reminder that life often gives us a second chance to understand the people closest to us.

Don’t miss Jindagi Once More, streaming from September 17, 2026, only on ShemarooMe.
