As the Gujarati film industry continues to thrive in its golden era, EFORU Entertainment, Ambigramy, and Divine Production House have joined forces to deliver fresh, family-oriented content. The official auspicious commencement, or Muhurat, of their highly anticipated film ‘Vaat Lagi’ was recently held in the presence of the makers and the star-studded cast. Attendees included producers Nileshbhai Modi, Amit Vedawala, and Premal Trivedi, along with director Parth Shukla and actors Bhavya Gandhi, Prem Gadhvi, Om Bhatt, and Deep Vaidya.
Popular youth icon Bhavya Gandhi and the talented actress Jhinal Belani will lead the film in starring roles. They are supported by a powerhouse of performers including Prem Gadhvi, Om Bhatt, and Deep Vaidya, who are set to bring their unique charms to the screen. The film is being directed by the well-known filmmaker Parth Shukla, while the cinematography is being handled by Director of Photography Pratik Parmar.
‘Vaat Lagi’ is crafted as a comedy-suspense thriller. According to the producers, the story is just as catchy and exciting as its title, filled with thrilling twists and turns. Production is scheduled to begin this February, with plans to release the film around October or November 2026.
This mega project is backed by a team of experienced producers including Amit Vedawala of EFORU Entertainment, Premal Trivedi and Shrikant Jani of Ambigramy, and Amrish Bhimani and Nilesh Patel of Divine, all under the mentorship of Nileshbhai Modi. The producers expressed that their goal extends beyond simple entertainment; they aim to take Gujarati cinema to a global audience. They anticipate that the film will make a significant impact in theaters as well as on international circuits and popular OTT platforms.
