Smriti Irani Engages in a Thought-provoking Session on Leadership

Ahmedabad:The evening of Leadership Unscripted was one that will be remembered for a long time — powerful, emotional, and deeply inspiring. What began as an interaction soon turned into an intimate exchange of thoughts, stories, and strength that touched every woman in the room.

Smt. Smriti Irani, Union Minister and one of India’s most respected voices in leadership, shared her journey with rare honesty and warmth. From her early career to her impactful work in social development — including initiatives like Poshan Tracker and her contribution during the pandemic through PPE kit manufacturing — she spoke about resilience, purpose, and the power of choice.

The conversation was moderated by Neha Goyal, Chairperson of YFLO Ahmedabad 2025–26, who created an atmosphere of ease and authenticity — leading to one of the most candid and heartfelt dialogues of the year. What unfolded on stage was not just an interview, but a genuine, unfiltered exchange filled with laughter, introspection, and connection.

Smriti Ji reminded everyone that power is a mindset and urged women to choose themselves first, rather than waiting for external validation. She challenged common narratives around gender by asking, “Why do we think differently just because we’re women? Why not simply choose to be ourselves?”
