On March 8th, in honor of International Women’s Day, the Ahmedabad Textile Industry’s Research Association (ATIRA) organized a special event to celebrate and recognize the contributions of its female workforce. The occasion featured esteemed guests such as gynaecologist and motivational speaker Dr. Darshana Thakkar, and internationally acclaimed versatile singer Dr. Mitali Nag.
Dr. Thakkar delivered an inspiring talk on “Emotion with Spa,” motivating all attendees with her insights. Following this, Dr. Nag captivated the audience with performances of songs focusing on women’s empowerment, including renditions of “Tu Komal Hai, Kamzor Nahi” and “Ladli,” leaving everyone emotional.
The honored guests shared their perspectives on women’s advancement across various fields, emphasizing their belief in promoting equality and empowering women. International Women’s Day, celebrated annually on March 8th, aims to encourage women’s participation and raise awareness about their rights.
